Norman Smagley joined Flex Technology Group as Chief Financial Officer in January 2025, bringing with him a track record of driving growth and transformation for some of the world’s most dynamic companies. Known for his ability to scale high-growth organizations, Norm combines deep financial expertise with strategic vision — a powerful combination as FlexTG accelerates its expansion through organic growth, new customer acquisition, and strategic M&A.
Over the course of his career, Norm has created value across private equity-backed and public companies ranging from Fortune 25 enterprises to pre-IPO innovators. His experience spans multiple industries — including technology, aviation, internet start-ups, financial services, pharmaceuticals, retail, and industrial — giving him a unique perspective on growth in diverse markets where FlexTG outperforms.
Before joining FlexTG, Norm served as Executive Vice President and CFO at ClearCover, a leading Insurtech company headquartered in Chicago. He has also held CFO roles at Ensono, an IT managed services provider, and Gogo Inc., the pioneering in-flight streaming and entertainment platform.
A two-time graduate of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Norm earned both his Bachelor of Science in Finance and his Master of Business Administration from the institution.
