Kern County Renews and Expands Partnership with Flex Technology Group
Kern County has renewed and expanded its long-standing partnership with Flex Technology Group and Ultrex Business Products. This extended agreement builds on 25 years of collaboration and introduces new offerings that County departments can now take advantage of—designed to increase flexibility, improve visibility, and simplify operations.
Kern County departments can continue using the familiar month-to-month rental program that has been in place for over a decade. This flexible model makes it easy to adjust device needs over time without long-term lease commitments or complex buyouts, offering reliable access to equipment with minimal administrative burden.
Under the updated agreement, departments also now have access to equipment purchasing options, with the latest technology available at highly competitive rates. Whether it’s enhanced functionality, increased speed, or long-term cost savings, teams can now choose the approach that works best for them—with full support from our service and reporting tools.
In addition, we’re expanding access to solutions many departments may not know are available through FlexTG, including:
- Ongoing Copier/Printer fleet assessments to identify overworked machines, spot inefficiencies, and guide smarter upgrades
- Toner bundle programs that simplify replenishment and reduce single-use vendor costs
- Wide-format/Plotter and production print equipment for departments with high-volume or Printshop needs, or specialized printing needs (Blueprints, Posters, Signage … )
